When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Le Comptoir du Coffret reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, at its discretion. Your order is not accepted until Le Comptoir du Coffret has confirmed its acceptance. We must receive and process your payment before your order is accepted. Please review your order carefully before submitting it, as Le Comptoir du Coffret may not be able to accommodate cancellation requests after an order has been accepted. In the event that we do not accept, or that we modify or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the email address, billing address and/or phone number provided at the time the order was placed.
Your purchases may be returned or exchanged only in accordance with our Refund Policy (https://lecomptoirducoffret.fr/en/policies/refund-policy).
You represent and warrant that your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale.

SECTION 4 - PRICES AND BILLING

Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be stated in your order confirmation email. Unless otherwise indicated, the prices displayed are in euros, all taxes included (incl. VAT), excluding shipping costs, which are specified before the order is confirmed.
The prices displayed in our online stores may differ from prices offered in physical stores or in online or other stores operated by third parties. We may, from time to time, offer promotions on the Services that may affect prices and that are governed by terms and conditions separate from these Terms. In the event of a conflict between the terms of a promotion and these Terms, the terms of the promotion will prevail.

You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
You represent and warrant that (i) the credit card information you provide is true, correct and complete, (ii) you are duly authorized to use that credit card for the purchase, (iii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iv) you will pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including shipping and handling charges and all applicable taxes, if any.

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We are not responsible for shipping and delivery delays. Our delivery time is 5 to 9 business days (1 to 3 days of preparation, 4 to 6 days in transit) in mainland France. We are not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers or events beyond our control. In accordance with Article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to you only when you, or a third party designated by you, take physical possession of them.

Le Comptoir du Coffret is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, the sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with Le Comptoir du Coffret. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Le Comptoir du Coffret, OUR PARTNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS OR LICENSORS, OR THOSE OF SHOPIFY AND ITS AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, SAVINGS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCT OBTAINED USING THE SERVICES. THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY IN CASES OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, TO PERSONAL INJURY, OR WHERE APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT SUCH A LIMITATION. We will notify you of any indemnifiable claim, provided that a failure to promptly notify you will not relieve you of your obligations unless you are materially prejudiced. You will cooperate in the defense of indemnified claims, including by providing relevant documents.

Any dispute relating to their validity, interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings before the courts of the place where you reside, in accordance with the French Consumer Code.
In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have the right to use, free of charge, a consumer mediation service with a view to the amicable resolution of a dispute, after having first sent a written complaint to contact@lecomptoirducoffret.fr that did not receive a satisfactory response.
